I was a Scripter and UI Designer on a total conversion mod for Command & Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour that brought back the classic Command and Conquer: Red Alert with updated mechanics into the 3D SAGE Engine.
Above is a short single player level experience that takes place on a derelict space vessel, built in stock Unreal Engine 3. The player progresses through the level, gets new weapons, and takes on more powerful enemies. My goal with this level slice was to play around with spaces and loop the player back into the starting area as combat escalates.
My contributions on this project:
Scripting and balancing unit behavior to match the original Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Designing and implementing the user interface and menus which included command bars, button placements, and their overall look in-game
UI Editing implementation using a mix of special tools and manual value editing by hand
Acted as a partial community manager and helped post community updates, news, and announcements on
